$75 Weekly Shopping and Menu 3-18-19

Meal plan, grocery list, and coupon deals for 3-18-19. Want to know what a family of 3 eats for $75 a week? Check back every Monday!

Wow, this was a busy shopping weekend!

I don’t normally shop at so many stores but each place had something I could only get there. Like my Nutpods creamer at Kroger, and discounted bread at the Entenmann’s Outlet. Next week should be fairly normal!

Speaking of, this week is my last week of Whole30 re-introduction! I’ll be re-introducing dairy on Tuesday, and gluten on Friday. Maybe one of those will tell me why my face keeps breaking out. If not, I’ll be seeing a doctor to finally get things figured out. This means that my grocery shopping SHOULD go back to normal next week!

So if you remember, I had said earlier in the month that we budgeted an extra $35 this month to go toward groceries. Whole30 CAN be done on a budget, but you eat a lot more meat than normal so your spending may automatically go up just because of that. We’ve allowed ourselves a small buffer, which we used part of this week.

I was also recently made aware of a discount grocery store that just opened up in the next town! It’s one of those stores that sells almost-expired or just-expired foods, including refrigerated and frozen foods. From the pictures I’ve seen on Facebook, I’m now super pumped to check it out! I plan to go this week, so you’ll get a full report on next week’s shopping post.

Here’s what I was able to buy:

Thanks Michelle! It's really sad that I'm looking forward to my dairy day Tuesday. I miss yogurt so much.
