$75 Weekly Shopping and Menu 6-25-18

When there’s a 10 for $10 sale, I simply can’t resist.

Meijer had one of the best sales in awhile, so I purposely planned cheap meals this week to give myself extra money to stock up! We needed a bunch of little stuff that doesn’t come up every week- like floss and hand soap. I also bought a ton of snacks, because I volunteered at a rest stop for my church’s charity bike ride on Saturday and was there for about 6 hours.

Do you ever have weeks where you run out of everything at once? That was me. I was super low on Downy Unstoppables, John was low on tea and snack bars for work… luckily, I saw that Sam’s Club had an Instant Savings event going on and some of this stuff was included! And I had just redeemed $50 in free gift cards- one from Swagbucks, and one from Fetch Rewards, which is becoming my new favorite app. You just scan the receipt and get points- no hunting around for deals, the app does the work for you! Sign up here and use code PV2QH when signing up and we’ll both receive 2,000 bonus points when you scan your first receipt!

I’m trying a few new recipes like coconut rice, so I’m pretty excited to see how it turns out! Here’s what I bought and what I’m making this week:

We had Annie's vegan shells and cheese, lightlife franks and peas for dinner last night! How funny : ) I'm also going to try your jambalaya recipe next week!

Haha, nice! This jambalaya recipe is my favorite because it's just so easy! I don't usually add the celery though, because I end up with a bunch of stalks I never use and then throw away.
