$85 Weekly Shopping and Menu 1-20-20

Man, last week was crazy!!! Allison went to school on Monday and stayed home the rest of the week due to getting the flu. She’s feeling much better now and gets to go back to school tomorrow (Today’s a holiday), so we’re both super excited to say the least.

As far as groceries go, I attempted to take advantage of Meijer’s 10 for $10 sale. I found out their frozen ground turkey was only a dollar, but when I got there, there were none left. So instead, I bought more frozen veggies because we can never have enough!

Only two of our meals are from the freezer this week: a stir fry, and some deli turkey and flatbread from Panera that we got a couple months ago. It does feel nice to be able to cook fresh food again after doing the 25 Days of Freezer Meals series.

Here’s what I bought for the week:


Meijer

3 tubes Colgate toothpaste: $1.00 each, used a $.30/1 Meijer coupon
Bananas: $1.33, used a $.25 off coupon
Orange juice: $1.00
8 bags frozen veggies: $1.00 each, used a $.25/1 coupon
4 Siggi’s skyr: $1.00 each, got $.75 back on Ibotta from the almond butter ones and $.70 from the two vanilla

Total: $15.76, and got $1.55 back in rebates from Ibotta


Wal Mart

Zucchini, 1.12 pounds: $1.65
