With a super busy week behind us, I wasn’t able to get a grocery post up for you all last week. But I’m more than making up for it today!
We had a huge overage from last week because I didn’t really have to buy anything for dinner. I bought lunch and breakfast groceries while we were on vacation (And snacks beforehand, as you can see on Facebook), but that didn’t use up my entire grocery budget. So, I was happy to visit Mr. Mac’s to stock up on snacks!
I’m not sure if you heard, but our town’s been pretty popular in the past week. The Dayton area was hit pretty hard with tornadoes, doing some serious damage to plenty of homes and businesses. We weren’t even home when it happened; we were still on vacation but heard about it the next morning.
Thankfully, our home and neighborhood were untouched. But we’ve donated supplies and will try to volunteer in any way we can. I’ve always said this could never happen to us, but… well, it did. And I’m so glad to see the entire town rally together to help those in need.
