Just when I thought things were going back to normal, I had to go and change things up again.
So after being gluten free for about 2 weeks, the skin on my face has cleared up, but not completely. There’s still a bit of redness that comes and goes and I want to know exactly what’s wrong. I didn’t do a proper re-introduction of foods after the Daniel Fast, so starting today I’m doing a round of Whole30.
Yes, after a week of being done with the Daniel Fast, I’m starting over with another new way of eating.
I’m going into a lot more details in a post on Wednesday; but I’m desperate to know exactly what’s wrong with me and if food is the culprit. I hope I have your support for the next 30 days! John and Allison won’t be participating fully, although most of the dinners I make will be Whole30-compliant for them. They can just add rice, pasta, cheese, etc. as they wish.
In preparation, I also went to Costco with my parents and used up some cash that wasn’t included in our grocery budget. I bought a few essentials, along with some yummy dairy (for everyone else). Man, I just love that place! A girl could go crazy in there.

I came back from a work trip last Thursday night to find that my fridge/freezer had stopped working. Had to throw out almost everything! We've been building up and eating out of our freezer for some time now. I wasn't able to get anyone out to look at it until yesterday and now the part I need wont be here until Thursday! Luckily my family lives close, so I did my usual weekly shopping on Sunday and put all my stuff in their fridge. It's been a chore to drive over their every meal time, so we ate out a lot this past weekend. I did buy some ice and put it in an ice chest in my garage to keep some small things at hand. We will be eating simply the rest of the week until I get my fridge back up and running!
