Merry Christmas Eve! I thought about taking this whole week off, but decided on a lighter load instead. So there will be only a post today and Friday so we can all enjoy the Christmas holiday.
We had our first family Christmas on Saturday and it was a blast! And then tomorrow we’ll celebrate Christmas at home for a little while before heading to my parents’ house. It’s hard to believe Christmas is already here; did December fly by for anybody else?
This week I was able to get a few things we were out of- like butter, maple syrup, and hand soap. I love the Bath and Body Works foaming soaps but we go through a lot of soap; and the industrial sized bottles at Sam’s go a long way. Butter also freezes well, so I have no problem buying a boatload. Hopefully it’s on sale again next week!
We have a light menu this week too, with visiting Kings Island and trying to finish the meals left in the freezer. Things like that help with keeping my grocery bill low so I can focus on stocking up! Here’s what I was able to buy:
