$85 Grocery Haul 11-18-19

Image of groceries with the title "$85 weekly shopping for a family of 3"

Guys. I did my grocery shopping IN THE STORE today.

I can’t even tell you how strange it was, having to get out a cart and actually shop for everything. No parking and letting someone else put my bagged groceries in the car? Seriously, it did feel a little weird after using Wal Mart’s grocery pickup a few weeks in a row.

And I did end up making a few impulse purchases, so there’s that.

But the reason I shopped mainly Aldi was the butter. They finally went on sale for $1.99, and that’s when I stock my freezer for my holiday baking. I think I have 4 full boxes in there now, which MIGHT be enough. But I think I’ll get a few more later- to last me most of next year, you see.

I did end up having to go to Meijer for a couple things right afterward, because Aldi doesn’t sell canned coconut milk. I guess you take that risk, although it did defeat the purpose of trying to stick with one store! Oh well. Maybe this week I’ll go with Wal Mart again.

Here’s what I picked up for the week:
