I gotta say, I’m pretty disappointed this week.
If you got my email on Friday, I mentioned something about Kroger peanut butter being on sale for 99 cents. I had planned on buying 10 of the natural kind because I have only one jar left; but when we got there, the natural peanut butter wasn’t on the sale list. It was still $2.29. *Sigh* So needless to say, I didn’t buy any. They were $1.49 a few weeks ago, so I’ll hold out for another sale… hopefully my last jar will be enough until then!
My recipes this week were designed to make a lot of servings, which means we needed less dinners. Since there’s just 3 of us, we always have a lot of leftovers; so this week we’ll have 2 leftover nights. That’s one advantage of having a small family; we save money buying less food!
Other than the peanut butter, there weren’t many good sales so I used the extra money to start buying snacks for our long trip to Florida in a couple weeks. Here’s everything I bought:
