What a busy weekend! We had two birthday parties this weekend (One of which being our own daughter’s), which involved tons of cleaning and prepping on Saturday. I also did all of my shopping on Friday, both grocery and birthday party, while Allison was in school; you should have seen me zooming down the aisles trying to get everything! But it’s all over now and now it’s time to recover.
I thought we were going to be in the red this week. Part of it was because I wanted to buy a bottle of carpet cleaner, which was around $8.00. That, plus a few other expensive items, put a damper on my budget! But it turns out we have just enough cleaner for the living room carpet I needed to do; and some of the items I bought weren’t as expensive as I thought, so now we have about $20.00 left. This is great because I apparently ran out of everything in the house last week (Tissues, honey, chocolate chips, peanut butter), and nothing at Sam’s Club is cheap! I’ll use some of this overage for this weekend’s shopping. Here’s what I bought this week:

Wow! You are a great shopper! I love our entenmann's outlet- my bread is $.89 but so are the english muffins- I usually go every two week to shop in quantity- it's all my freezer can fit! Kudos on the shopping and menus- you are doing great!

Thanks, Barrie! Entenmann's is my favorite bread outlet here. The Sara Lee Artesano is my daughter's favorite, and I'd much rather pay $.50 there than almost $4.00 at the stores!
