Happy Prime Day, friends!
In case you missed it, I’ll be posting all the Prime Day deals for meal planning tools and kitchen gadgets over on this post. So if you’re looking for cool things to add to your kitchen, head on over and check out my post throughout the day!
So I’ve run into an interesting problem. Typically, I buy a lot of my paper goods- toilet paper, paper towels, tissues- from Sam’s Club with gift cards from Swagbucks. I earn about $25.00 a month, which is usually enough to get us through and buy what we need.
But recently, Swagbucks hasn’t been very kind to me. I have an old phone where I run their video apps, but the videos stop playing due to ads that I need to manually click out of. So since I can’t run them all day, I’m not earning any Swagbucks. And I’ve had no time to take surveys.
Now we’re slowly running out of supplies and we actually have to start using our own money again. *Gasp* I’m considering taking $5.00 every week out of our budget and using that once a month to buy what we need. That’s probably what I’ll do for now, until I can find another solution.
Also- I’m doing a freezer meal session this week! I’m using 5 rolls of my ground turkey from the freezer to make a week’s worth of meals and put together a plan for you all. Some of the items I bought this week, like the canned goods and bell peppers/onions, are being used for that. So look forward to seeing this new plan in the next couple weeks!

I started making The Frugal Girl French Bread in the last 2 weeks. I add 1 Tablespoon melted butter to the dough and brush the top with melted butter on the second rise. It's super cheap and I always double it. Due to allergies we have to make homemade everything or spend a fortune. I am going to start driving further for groceries now. My Aldi's prices have been getting more expensive now it has gone through the roof. So ?. Thank you for heads up on Swagbucks I was thinking of doing it but now I won't. I am not sure if anyone else knew this if you buy a Disney Gift Card and want to use at ShopDisney.Com or over the Phone be prepared to have a second for of payment. They will charge your second payment if they have a problem with the gift card. They do not tell you that anywhere on the gift card and my daughter had purchased one with her allowance. We have sat on that gift card for awhile now. I just didn't want anyone else to have the same problem. If you are using it at the stores its fine but not online or over the phone. Have a Great and Blessed Weekend.

Thank you for the heads up, Gina! Allison's a huge Disney fan so I'll have to remember this. =)

I liked fetch rewards, but even with family and co workers letting me scan their receipts, I only got one $25 card in 9 month!

Yeah, it seems to be getting pretty slow, too! You get more points when buying the featured items, but that's hard when you don't usually buy name brands. =(

I also did swagbucks for awhile but it was WAY too time consuming . I’d rather just try and be careful with what I buy then spend hours per day earning less then a dollar.

I'm starting to get the same way. =( I liked that extra money, but it's a little too stressful!
