$75 Weekly Shopping and Menu 3-11-19

Meal plan, grocery list, and coupon deals for 3-11-19. Want to know what a family of 3 eats for $75 a week? Check back every Monday!

I’m pretty proud of myself this week. I told John I did a bit of “wizardry” with our grocery list to maximize my savings, and it actually worked! Coupons were used, deals were taken advantage of, it was amazing.

I got these coupons in the mail a couple weeks ago, and usually I don’t spend that much at Kroger. But somehow things kept adding up, and I realized that yes, I CAN actually spend more at Kroger than at Aldi sometimes! So these coupons have really helped, especially during this Whole30.

Speaking of Whole30, tomorrow is day 30! YES! I’m not done yet though, unfortunately. There are still 10 days of re-introduction I need to endure to see what food group is making my skin break out. Wednesday I’m re-introducing legumes while still keeping the rest of my diet Whole30. So I’ll eat some peanut butter, beans, and maybe hummus. Then I eat strictly Whole30 for two days to see how that affects me.

After that will be non-gluten grains. Three days after that, dairy. And three days after that, gluten grains. All told, I’ll officially be finished March 25th. So I still have a ways to go, but at least I’m so much closer to getting answers!

I had said I’ve been shopping at Kroger more… but this coming up weekend, it’s all about Meijer. I saw that ground turkey is on their 10 for $10 sale this week, so I’m heading out today to buy 11 (The 11th one is free). I’m kind of borrowing money from the budget, but a sale like that is so good they’ll sell out fast so I’m going early!

Here are the awesome deals I scored this week:
