$75 Weekly Shopping and Menu 11-19-18

Meal plan, grocery list, and coupon deals for 11-19-18. Want to know what a family of 3 eats for $75 a week? Check back every Monday!

Hurray for Thanksgiving this week! We’re hosting for John’s family this year, so I’m going to be busy cleaning and making all sorts of good food to prepare.

By the way, I’m totally nerding out over the fact that there’s going to be a float of Goku from Dragonball Z in the Thanksgiving parade. The TV’s going to be on basically all morning that day.

This weekend I did all my shopping, including Thanksgiving shopping. We had a separate budget for Thanksgiving food, so although all the food is jammed together for pictures, the dollar amounts you’ll see are just for grocery.

Our menu this week is a little light. We’re eating some food from the freezer with lower serving sizes to minimize leftovers due to Thanksgiving. Judging by all the food I’m cooking, I know we’ll have leftovers.

Here’s my enormous shopping trip from the weekend:

I just found out I have ALL the ingredients to make the sweet potato lentil shepard's pie and I will be making and freezing that this week! And I love the vegan pumpkin cake. I'm making pie for Thanksgiving, but I never get bored of pumpkin recipes, so I'll be trying this next week for dessert!
