I used to be a huge sucker for potato chips.
Anyone else here a “whole bag” snacker? Where you take the entire huge bag and just start mindlessly munching away? Back in the day, you could give me a French onion dip and a bag of chips and I’d just go to town without even thinking about what I was eating.
Nowadays I’ve become more mindful of what I eat, and especially the ingredients in those foods. Of course, I’m not perfect and never will be. But I do my best to make sure my family is getting good ingredients.
When LOVE CORN asked if I’d like to try their snacks, I was SO pumped. I had seen their products recently pop up at a couple of my stores and had seen them being advertised. And I’m all about the snacks (as you may know from my Mr. Mac’s runs), so I jumped at the opportunity.
What is LOVE CORN?
LOVE CORN is a company that makes roasted corn kernel snacks. They’re crunchy, savory, and come in four different flavors:
- Sea Salt
- BBQ
- Habanero
- Salt & Vinegar
Not only that, but these are vegan, gluten free, non-GMO, and sugar free. They come in both lunch box-sized bags and full-size snacking bags.
I was actually surprised at how many kernels were in each bag. Even the smaller ones, at 90 calories, held a ton. The bigger bags have 190 calories, which is still perfect for a regular afternoon snack.
How can you eat LOVE CORN snacks?
In addition to regular snacking just out of the bag, you can add these as salad toppers, soup toppers, or add them to charcuterie boards.
The smaller bags are small enough to fit in Allison’s lunch box; and I enjoy a small bag paired with either hard-boiled eggs or some grapes.
Where can you find LOVE CORN?
I’ve seen LOVE CORN advertised at some of the bigger stores like Kroger and Target; but you can also find them at places like Walgreens, Sprouts, Whole Foods, and Wegmans.
What I think
Overall, I think LOVE CORN makes an amazing snack! My two favorite flavors are the Salt & Vinegar and Habanero (Which isn’t all that spicy, but I’m a spice freak). The serving sizes are quite nice, and I love the simple ingredients.
These kernels are quite crunchy. If you have children with texture issues, they may not like how hard they are (Allison’s the same way).
If you’d like to try these for yourself, make sure you check out the LOVE CORN website! You can get a 25% discount on all products using the code MOMSLOVE. Or if you’d rather buy them in person, you can find stores in your area that carry these kernels.
Do you prefer sweet or savory snacks? And which of these LOVE CORN flavors would you like to try? Leave a comment and let me know!
