Holy cow, have you guys tried these?
These things right here. Sam’s Club sells a 3-pack of chicken sausages, and while it’s a tad expensive, at around $14.00, they’re SO worth the price. I use one pack per meal, so I can stretch it out into 3 meals which helps with the budget. They sell different flavors, but our favorite is the garlic and mozzarella. Over the past few weeks I used them in 3 new recipes, so today I just want to share the goodness with you, including recipes, to inspire you to try these things out!
Sausage Jambalaya
This was delicious! It’s incredibly simple to make and it makes a ton. Like, it fed me and John (Allison rarely eats what I make) for a few days, and they were really big servings for not a lot of calories. The recipe says to use 2 pounds of sausage, but I just used one of the packages (each package had 5 links) and it worked well for us. You can find the recipe here!
Pizza Pasta Bake
Oh my goodness, this pizza pasta. I found this one night when I spontaneously invited a friend over for dinner like the next day, and looked in my pantry to see what I could make without going to the store. Instead of the meat the recipe calls for, I just replaced it with this chicken sausage and used pasta sauce and pizza sauce I had in the freezer, and it tasted amazing. It’s another recipe that makes a lot, so we were enjoying it for a few days! You can find the recipe here!
Sausage Pasta Skillet
This one right here was my favorite of the 3. It was a one pot recipe and it was just great. The creator of this called it an adult mac and cheese, and she was totally right! The pasta cooks in the chicken broth as it simmers, creating a great flavor, and it was just so cheesy and wonderful. You can find the recipe here!
Seriously, go buy some of these chicken sausages. Sam’s Club isn’t paying me to say this, I just love them that much. If you have any other great recipes, please share with me! I’m always looking for more!

I just used the pear & gouda chicken sausage in some soft scrambled eggs—really, really good.
