I don’t use my air fryer much. But when I do, I always wonder why I don’t use it more often!
It’s the perfect kitchen appliance for Summer, because you don’t have to heat up the house.
And you still get that nice, crispy food that you’d get from the oven.

This Kielbasa and Potatoes has only FIVE ingredients, and is cooked right in your air fryer! Made with baby gold potatoes that are crisp yet smooth on the inside; and colorful bell peppers. This is ready in about 20 minutes!

Ingredients
- Kielbasa: This is fully cooked, which greatly reduces the cooking time!
- Baby potatoes: I love these little guys. They’re buttery soft and don’t take long to cook. But you can also use larger potatoes, like Russet potatoes. Just dice them up first!
- Bell peppers: Use any color you like! The red, yellow, and orange ones tend to be sweeter.
- Olive oil: Adds some healthy fats to keep you full longer!
- Salt and pepper: You can always add your favorite seasonings instead. Creole seasoning is amazing!
Air Fryer Tips
- Some recipes require pre-heating the air fryer. But I find that mine cooks just fine without preheating.
- For more even cooking, remove the basket every 3-4 minutes and give it a good shake.
- Some air fryers have lots of buttons. Mine is simple, a Gourmia brand similar to this one. All you have to worry about is changing the temperature and the time!

How to Make
Cook potatoes first
Slice the baby potatoes in half. Add them to a large bowl and add olive oil plus your favorite seasonings, then stir to combine.
I like using Creole seasoning because it adds a little kick!
Pour the potatoes into the air fryer basket and cook at 370 degrees for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Add kielbasa and peppers
Meanwhile, slice the kielbasa and bell pepper and add them to the same bowl. Add more seasoning and mix them together.
After the 8 minutes, add the kielbasa and bell pepper to the air fryer basket and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Shake the basket every 3-4 minutes for more even cooking.
Divide the meal into 4 bowls and serve!
How to Store
Once this has cooled to room temperature, store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Use up within 3-5 days.

What to Serve With This
This is pretty much a complete meal in itself! If you want to add more food, here are some ideas:
- Side salad or a bagged salad kit
- Baked Italian loaf
- Other roasted vegetables like broccoli or zucchini
How do you keep the kielbasa from drying out in the air fryer?
You’ll want to make sure the potatoes are mostly cooked before adding the kielbasa and peppers! The potatoes take the longest; and it’s hard to remove everything but the potatoes to let them cook more.
When in doubt, cook the potatoes longer.
