I just can’t get away from my coffee recipes! First my Skinny Pumpkin Frappe (Go make that soon, by the way), and now a hot Holiday Peppermint Mocha, just in time for the holiday season. I’m not usually a fan of hot drinks besides regular hot coffee, but I make an exception every now and then, especially now with the cold weather finally coming in.
Like my pumpkin frappe, I took a few measures to make this Peppermint Mocha as healthy as possible. First, I used unsweetened almond milk, and then Stevia to sweeten it. Of course, the whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and crushed candy cane on top probably negate any healthiness, but you can always go without it (sometimes). It’s at least a better, cheaper alternative to what you would buy at a coffee shop!
I used NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® House Blend instant coffee as an easy addition to this drink. I actually almost ran out because of all the frappes I made, so I had to go buy more for this! NESCAFÉ® uses responsibly sourced beans and are flash frozen to lock in freshness, and the new glass jar helps with that! In a pinch, you can also use an individual stick pack which now makes an 8-ounce cup of coffee instead of 6 ounces.
The first time I made this, I actually drank two in the same day. You know, just to make sure I had the recipe correct. I never thought I liked the peppermint mocha flavor, but I’m totally hooked. This may be one of my go-to drinks during this holiday season! I really want you to try it too, and NESCAFÉ® is giving away ten of the 1.7-ounce glass jars to my readers!
