Guys, I’m so close to my goal. So close I can almost taste it, but I’d rather not because I don’t want to gain any weight from it. I worked hard this week to make up for a bad eating day Monday; when I stepped on the scale Friday I had lost exactly one pound!

Weight loss this week: 1 pound
Weight loss since May 2015: 18.4 pounds

Wow, I still can’t believe I’ve lost 18 pounds. I mean, I’ve done it before a few years back, but I’ve forgotten how it felt knowing I did something good for myself. I cannot wait to lose these last 1.6 pounds and be where I want to be weight-wise. It’s so close; I just need to push forward!

Monday really was a bad eating day. Not quite sure what happened, but I was just in a blah mood, and I have an emotional eating problem, so I was constantly snacking on food, I got an iced mocha from McDonalds… by themselves, they’re not necessarily bad things! It’s just when you combine them all in one day that makes it difficult to catch up again.

I was so excited to get the Turbofire DVD set for Christmas! John loves me. I’m starting a 12-week program that’s much more intense than my PiYo workouts. I’m used to 30 minute workouts, but these range from 15 minutes to over an hour, holy cow. It’s supposed to be a great program though, so I’m interested in seeing my results! I’ll be sure to report back with how I’m doing. I’m also going to take measurements before I start, which I regret not doing when I first began. I really want to see how my body’s changing, not just in pounds, but in inches.

I don’t think I’ll post an update next week, due to the exciting things I have planned for the blog. If by some miracle I reach my goal, I’ll update right away, but for now, look forward to what’s coming up next Monday! Friday starts the new year, so it’s the perfect time for you to set a goal for yourself if you haven’t already. You have to start somewhere, and the new year is usually the best place for people to begin their lifestyle change! You can do it!
