Weight Loss Update 11-9

Weight Loss Update 11-9-15

Some of you may have noticed I didn’t post a weight loss update last week. Part of that was because of my November goals post, and I didn’t want to do two posts in a day. The other part was I gained some weight the previous week. It was only .4 pounds, but it was because of Allison’s birthday party… and then King’s Island… and then eating the rest of Allison’s party food. It all caught up to me, I guess! This week, I’m happy to report that I’m down 1.8 pounds from last week!

Weight loss last week: 1.8 pounds
Weight loss since May 2015: 16.2 pounds

This means I have less than 4 pounds to go before I hit my goal weight. I am SO excited! I need to go out and buy a new wardrobe to celebrate; most of my clothes are too big now. Maybe for Christmas? =)

It looks like a lot of my meals this week were accompanied by low-calorie sides. I bought some apples and forgot how delicious they were, so I’d been having one with lunch, and I had grapes a lot with dinner, as well as vegetables like roasted carrots. Some of my dinners are higher in calories, so having low-calorie sides is a great way to eat more food and still be under budget.

Tuesday was a bad day because I had a women’s group that night and may have overindulged on banana bread and some amazing white chocolate chip cookies that I had made. I never actually tried the cookies after I baked them, so you know… I had to make sure they were edible.

Friday night I helped set up for our MOPS Christmas bazaar! I was there from about 3:00 to 8:00, and I decided to get Subway for dinner. Word of caution: Subway can be healthy, but only if you get the right things. I did not get the right things. See: a footlong Spicy Italian sub on flatbread. Over 1,000 calories, oops. But all the walking I did helping to set up the bazaar was almost enough to overset the calories, so I think I’ll be good!

Don’t give up if you’re struggling! It’s okay to mess up; the important thing is that you get right back up again and keep going. You can do it!!!
