Is anybody else super excited about Spring coming? I like the cooler weather, but I’m so ready to toss Allison in the backyard and let her play outside. It’s horrible being stuck in the house all Winter!
The next holiday coming up is St. Patrick’s Day, which is part of the questions of this month’s The Kids Behind The Blog. I haven’t really taught Allison anything about St. Patrick’s Day, so maybe I’ll make her some green pancakes next week or something. Here are the questions we were presented with this month along with Allison’s… creative answers.
What’s at the end of a rainbow? Purple!
What do you like to do when it rains? I like to play! With toys!
If you found a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow, what would you do? I would play with him!
Tell me 3 ways you know it’s springtime. It means the worms come out of the ground and destroy the trees.
Do you wear green on St. Patrick’s Day? Yes! What happens if you don’t? You become a Starnator. …What’s a Starnator? It means that you are good.
I don’t know what her fascination is with “playing”. It’s her standard answer for everything. “What did you do at church?” “We played!” “What did we do at the museum?” “We played!” I can’t get any more detailed answers out of her. She also likes to make up her own words, like Starnator, and she’ll give her imaginary animal friends names that she expects me to remember, like “Prog”. Whatever gets her imagination flowing, I guess. Make sure you check out my friend Stephanie’s blog for the full linkup for The Kids Behind The Blog so you can read other great answers!
