I have a slightly shorter grocery list this week. I only had to plan 4 dinners (plus leftover night), because we’re going on a mini-vacation Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! I’ll give you all a full recap next week, but that’s why this week’s list looks a little light.
John and I were sick for about half of last week. Summer colds are just the best; that’s why I ended up buying cough drops. Usually when I get sick, the lymph nodes in my neck swell and I start losing my voice. That’s the point when Allison magically wants to read ALL THE BOOKS, and the longest ones at that. Thankfully it’s over and done with! Here’s what I bought this week.
Maple syrup: $9.98
Chocolate chips: $8.98
Total: FREE, thanks to a gift card from Swagbucks!
2 packages zucchini: $1.59 each
2 containers deli ham: $2.49 each
2 cans tuna: $.65 each
Sliced cheese: $1.79
Vanilla extract: $2.49
2 dozen eggs: $1.09 each
Baking potatoes: $1.99
Half & Half: $1.89
Cough drops: $.90
Frozen broccoli: $1.79
Weekly Total: $30.53
Lunch is always leftovers. Items marked with an asterisk (*) were purchased in previous weeks.
