Weekly Shopping and Menu 7-11-16

Sharing is caring!

We're eating for only $30 a week for a (hopefully) short period of time! Want to see how? Check back every Monday for a new shopping list and menu! Week of: 7-11-16. www.nogettingoffthistrain.com

We had a really good week! In case you missed it, we made a trip to Jungle Jim’s last week and I used some of our garage sale money to buy some items for our pantry. Another thing I did this week was go to GFS and buy a 10-pound tube of 90/10 ground beef for $1.99 a pound. John separated the meat and stuck it in the freezer, so we’ll be eating from that for a couple months!

I was also able to redeem $50 worth of Swagbucks for Sam’s Club gift cards, so I used that plus a little more cash to buy some stock-up items, including chicken. We still have some cash left from the garage sale, so I think we may just use most of it to help stock up on grocery items we may need. When you’re in a situation where you’re not bringing in income, you find ways to scrape together money to help you out! So these next few weeks may not technically be $30 shopping weeks, but we’re using the extra money wisely to keep us going until John finds a job. Here’s what else I bought this week:
