I hope everyone had a great weekend! Our Father’s Day was spent eating too much food at Golden Corral and letting John have the afternoon to do whatever he wanted. Now it’s back to reality!

I did really good this week with my shopping, although I was really confused when I calculated everything afterward and saw that I was a dollar over budget. According to my calculations, I was supposed to have around 30 cents left, so I checked my receipt again Saturday (I bought everything Friday) and found the problem. Aldi had green grapes on sale for $1.58 a bag, but for some reason it scanned as red grapes for $2.99. I went back up there and the cashier said it was a bug in the system and that it happened to a lot of people. Thanks to Aldi’s Double Money Back guarantee, she refunded the entire $2.99! This is why I love Aldi so much and I’m always going to be one of their biggest supporters.

I’m also thankful for Sam’s Club! I got a gift card from Swagbucks I was going to use, but I also received a $10 gift card from Sam’s for signing up for their Moms and Dads Club. I used that to help pay for a 5-lb bottle of honey. Yep, 5 pounds. We go through a 12-ounce bear at least every 2 weeks so I figured we needed something bigger! Let’s see what else I got this week.

I am so impressed with how inexpensive you got your groceries! I've been known to be a frugal shopper too, but I've been off my game lately. You're inspired me to step things up a notch!
