Another week down! We’re eating out of our freezer again, although it’s starting to empty out quite a bit. We’re getting close to having to come up with an entire menu for $30, and I’m interested to see how that goes!

This week looks a little different. I ended up spending more than $30 thanks to a family member who was incredibly sweet enough to send us an Aldi gift certificate! Thank you again! It allowed me to purchase some things from Meijer while saving the gift certificate for things for dinners. We also purchased some non-perishables for a food drive that Allison’s church class is donating to; it was neat to see her grab everything we bought and put it in the large paper bag that she brought home, reiterating that we can love God, and we can love people! These items aren’t shown below but the total dollar amount below is correct. I also bought something for my MOPS secret sister which I won’t show either.

Meijer

Sunscreen: $5.99
Bananas: $2.29. They were only $.38/lb, I had to get a ton!
5 bags frozen vegetables: $.88 each
2 packages strawberries: $1.50 each
Nestea: Free, thanks to an mPerk coupon I found in my account!
Greek yogurt: $3.33

Total: $20.61. Part of this includes food pantry items, minus a 5% grocery mPerk and another 10% off the sunscreen! And the yogurt brought me over the spending I needed to get $3.00 off my next order thanks to mPerks Rewards.
