We’ve been trying to spend less money these past couple weeks to prepare for a party we’re hosting in July. For now, we’ve lowered our spending limit to $55 a week instead of $60, but I spent quite a bit less this week. I don’t have a picture for Sam’s Club, but we bought wipes and chicken breasts and used a $25 gift card I got from Swagbucks, plus the rest was put on a gift card I received this past week for participating in a car seat design study! That really helped. Let’s see what else I found!
Unsalted butter: $2.00. I haven’t seen it this low in awhile, so I’m sticking this one in the freezer.
Whole wheat tortillas: $1.79. I made my own last week (Recipe coming Wednesday!), but I wanted something with a bit more circular form to hold my chimichangas well.
2 pounds ground turkey: $1.89 each
2 cans crushed tomatoes: $.95 each
Tomato paste: $.39
