This was definitely an Aldi week! There wasn’t anything great at Meijer this week, but I still had to go get a couple things that Aldi didn’t have.

Sam’s Club

4 cans diced tomatoes: $.55 each
Canned mushrooms: $.59
1 can of corn: $.49
2-lb bag of black beans: $2.29. My freezer is running low, so I’m going to make more to freeze!

2 boxes strawberries: $1.69 each
Canned biscuits: $1.09
Canola spray: $1.39

What a great budget! I need to strive to do this! I try really hard to buy only what is on sale! I think my next step is to buy a freezer...

Ooh yes, definitely invest in a freezer! It's so convenient to put all my meat in there as well as leftovers from dinner.

I also love seeing what people spend and what they end up getting. You did great. Grocery shopping in our house has gotten a little out of hand- and we have three boys, all under 5, so I can only imagine how insane it will be when they get older. This is something I need to get under control.

Oh my! I can't imagine feeding boys (Besides my husband)! Do you have a deep freeze? It might be time to start doubling up on large casseroles and freezing half! It's a big time and money saver; a freezer meal post is on my huge list of things to work on. =)

I love seeing how much people spend on groceries and what they get! We're pretty bad with grocery spending because it's just the two of us and we suck at meal planning, haha. That ground turkey was such a steal!

I love looking at others' grocery lists, too! It gives me so many ideas. I was supposed to use that ground turkey for dinner tonight, but we got out ground sausage instead, oops. I'll have to wait till next week to see if it's any good. =)

I love that you are able to get all your groceries in a $60 dollar budget... I've gotten better at meal planning, but the budgeting part is more sporadic, you are an inspiration and your meals look great!

Thank you! Meal planning is the start of lowering your costs; if you've done that, you're on the right track!
