So, it’s another interesting week! I only had to plan 5 meals this week instead of 6. Monday John and I are going to a work Christmas party that’s serving dinner, and Saturday is John’s family Christmas so I had a little more planning to do for that, dinner-wise. I think I’m getting pretty good at planning cheap/somewhat-healthy dinners! Let’s see what I got this week.

Meijer

2 gallons of milk: $2.59 each

  • Used $.50/2 mPerks coupon
  • Final Cost: $2.34 each

Cornmeal: $2.79
Deli ham: $3.05
Egg noodles (Not pictured): $1.79
Tortillas (Not pictured): $1.79
Aunt Millie’s Homestyle Bread: $2.49

  • Used $1/1 coupon from the newspaper
  • Final Cost: $1.49

2 bags of M&Ms: $3.00 each

  • Used $1/2 mPerks coupon
  • Final Cost: $2.50 each

Greek yogurt: $3.50
2 2-liters of soda: $1.00 each
2 bags baby carrots: $1.00 each
Frozen corn: $1.00
Frozen peas: $1.00

Total: $18.20. That was after a 5% grocery mPerk as well as a $20 off catalina I got from my parents! I also bought a couple presents for MOPS that are not pictured.

Weekly Total: $47.27. I have to go back and get a couple things like a bag of dry stuffing that Aldi didn’t have.
