Weekly Shopping and Menu 12-13

Sharing is caring!

I think I did pretty good this week! Some of the stuff you see I bought for our family Christmas yesterday, but the majority was for this week’s menu. I’m really trying to incorporate more whole foods into our meals and am finding that Aldi is the absolute best place to buy them. Two of the recipes, which you’ll see below, each call for 2 cans of cream of chicken soup. I put all 4 on the list and was ready to spend $2.00 on them when I thought, “Wait, I have a recipe for homemade soup!” So I looked it up and I had all the ingredients! I’ll just make a double batch when I need it and use the other half in the next couple days for the other recipe. Saves us money, plus it’s slightly healthier because it’s homemade! Anyway, let’s see what I got this week.

I love the fact that I can take a huge turkey from the freezer and use it for 4-5 meals the rest of the week! It saves so much money, and if I can find any marked down turkeys, I’m filling my freezer.
