Weekly Shopping and Menu 10/18

Sharing is caring!

Want to see what a family of 3 eats for $60 a week? Check back every Sunday for a new week of shopping and menus! Week of: 10/18/15 www.nogettingoffthistrain.com

I had an AWESOME week of shopping! I redeemed my Swagbucks for another $25.00 Sam’s Club gift card, and our Sam’s membership expired Sunday the 11th so John was able to sign up again through his work on Thursday. Because we did it that way, they gave us a $10.00 gift card plus coupons for a free package of french bread and a free pre-made chicken Parmesan meal. I’ll be redeeming those next week for a free meal!

You’ll also notice that I bought a couple pizzas. To celebrate National Pizza month, I thought I’d do a price/taste test on 3 different kinds of pizza. Look forward to Thursday when I post the final results!

Allison’s been such a picky eater the past week or so. What is it about almost turning 2 that turns toddlers into a stubborn non-eating monster? This week I’m focusing on giving her things I know she likes. I know some of it isn’t healthy, but I’m giving her plenty of options to make sure she at least eats something!

That all sounds awesome! I'm jealous of the free eggs; the price still hasn't gone down much for us. They're $2.49 at Aldi right now, and I used to be able to get them for $1.29! It's crazy!
