Lots of stores done this week! I don’t typically visit 6 different places, but each store had something I wanted so I visited just a couple stores each day. We’re eating pretty simple meals this week, a lot of stuff coming from our freezer, so I had extra money to play around with.
I noticed something interesting after I shopped the first few stores and took pictures. As I looked through my photos, all I saw were candy, snack bars, ice cream, desserts… I looked like an addict! Then as the weekend progressed, I saw the rest was filled with vegetables, fruit, and other nutritionally-packed items. I thought back to Friday’s post- Is it cheaper to eat healthy?– and felt much better because I knew what I had was perfectly balanced, and healthy for us. We might eat a lot of snacks, but the fruits and vegetables make up for it! Here’s everything we bought this week:
