Yay, it’s Monday! I might be in the minority, but I love Mondays. It’s my most productive day of the week; too bad my motivation drops right around Wednesday. We’ll see how today goes, though; my routine is all messed up because our washer decided to die on us, and my mom is amazing and is letting me wash our clothes at her house until we get a new one. I’m sure it’s quite a sight to watch me load up a car full of dirty laundry with a toddler trying to help!

On to my shopping trip! I’m back to 4 different stores this week; I can’t pass up a sale, especially now that we have extra money and I need to build my stockpile again. I’m also still trying to balance making healthy meals with making what we really want to eat. It’s also hard when you have a toddler whose main food group is carbs and won’t eat what I give her for dinner anyway. Every time I think about wanting to convert to full clean eating, I think “Or I could just eat a pizza”…. life is all about balance! Let’s get to what I bought this week.

Oh man, I'm sorry you don't have an Aldi anymore! :o Are there any similar stores close by?

Over the summer I was able to go to three different stores plus the farmer's market to get the best deals. Now that school has started I just don't have time. I still go to two stores on the weekend, and I love preparing all of my food on Sunday so it's ready for the work week. Definitely using your menu for some inspiration. Thanks for the great ideas!

Thanks! I know that when things get busy, it's hard to visit multiple stores. =)

This is awesome! I stopped couponing when the kids were born because I no longer have the time to get the sales (you have to go early here or the extreme couponers will wipe out everything!). But this makes me want to get back into it!

I too struggle with finding deals and serving healthy meals. You're doing a great job though! This is a huge inspiration!

Thank you! Sometimes it's hard not to feel like a failure when I look at my cart and realized I bought some not-so-healthy things just because I have a coupon. It's all about balance, but I'm pretty sure I have no self-control when it comes to buying things, especially snacks!

I ran out of pasta recently. I hope my Kroger is clearancing this out, too! You snagged some great deals. :)
