I know I’ve said this before, but I have a hoarding problem. I can’t resist good deals, especially when it helps stock my pantry. The problem comes when I have no more room for stuff so I end up shoving it in little nooks and crannies- just like the bags of popcorn below that I bought at Kroger. It’s not like we don’t use it all, because we do; I just never like paying full price for anything. =) Remember last week’s post on how much you should stockpile? I’m probably the extreme version of that.

Speaking of great deals, do you have an Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in your area? We have one that’s about a 25 minute drive; it’s kind of like Big Lots, where they receive overstock, or almost expired or unwanted items from other retailers and are sold there for super cheap. And they seem to sell everything- books, office supplies, kitchen items, toys, food… I have a big plan there for next week and I can’t wait to see how it pans out! This week, I just bought a couple boxes of Fiber One bars and a bottle of salad dressing which I found out actually expired earlier this month, but we’ll use it up quickly. Here’s what else I bought this week:

BoomChickaPop popcorn: $2.99, marked down
Colgate toothpaste: Free using a Best Customer Bonus coupon
Cheerios: Free using a Best Customer Bonus coupon
Chobani Flip yogurt: Free from Free Friday Download
Hershey Crunch bar: Free from Free Friday Download

Total: $2.99. I love saving all my free stuff for one trip; makes me feel awesome!

Taco Bell refried beans: $.69. Used as an add-on to reach my reward goal for mPerks.
Red onion: $1.02, submitted for a $.25 Ibotta rebate
2 Chobani Flip yogurts: $1.19 each, submitted for a $.75 Ibotta rebate
3 packages strawberries: $1.25 each
