$75 Weekly Shopping and Menu 5-22-17

Sharing is caring!

Meal plan, grocery list, and coupon deals for 5-22-17. Want to know what a family of 3 eats for $75 a week? Check back every Monday!

Did you have a great weekend? Mine was absolutely amazing. We had some quality time at the museum Saturday, all three of us, and celebrated my birthday Sunday night at Golden Corral, where I ate way too much. I may have bugged John all week and waved my free buffet coupon in his face until he relented. Today I’m celebrating with a free smoothie from Tropical Smoothie!

This week is a light dinner week, because we’re taking a trip to Cedar Point over the weekend and won’t need dinner Saturday! I tried to find cheap dinners that didn’t make a lot, because I don’t want any leftovers hanging around when we leave. Since we’ll be coming home Monday, there won’t be a grocery post next week because I’ll be doing all my shopping Monday night! That should be interesting. Since I didn’t have to spend a lot on dinners, I had leftover money to enjoy at Ollie’s and bought some snacks and treats.

Amazing deals on the Pure Protein Bars and the other 2 types of bars. Sure wish we had an Ollie's. You seem to always get great bargains there. I love any kind of protein bar with peanut butter and chocolate but they are so expensive at the only 2 grocery shops I have in my area. Also love trail mix! Love your hauls and menu plans. I pinned the cheeseburger wraps and am going to try that out of my husband. I am vegetarian so I just cook for him and my 19 year old when he is around so am going to make a smaller batch. I think they will really like it. Thanks for sharing. I will miss your Monday menu plan next week but hope you have a great vacation. Heading over to read your blog on what to buy if you ever are under budget...what is that anyways? HAHA By the time I buy the 5 gallons of milk my husband drinks a week, cheese, bacon for my son (who would eat 1lb. at a time if I let him) and whatever fruit or produce I can afford plus a few staples I am sweating to hopefully have enough! If we ever get back our small tax return I hope to set $50 aside for stocking up on a few items so this blog will really help.

Thank you, Jan! We actually made the cheeseburger wraps last night and they turned out delicious. =) I was surprised to see how much stuff Ollie's actually has; I only discovered it a couple years ago but fully realized its potential just in the past few months!
