Happy New Year, friends! Did you do anything fun over the weekend? John and I, typical parents, were in bed by 9:00. We’re not big party people, but maybe next year we’ll do something. We celebrated somewhat last night by going to Coldstone Creamery and redeeming the gift card I got for John; I ate way too much ice cream, but today’s a new day and I’m starting a new 60-day round of PiYo, so back on track we go!

On to the groceries! I did pretty awesome, I think. A couple weeks ago I did an Ibotta offer for Rubbermaid Fasten+Go and made $2.00 on the transaction. I had another coupon, so I did it again! Strawberries are now at a decent price, at $2.00 a pound, so now I can buy something besides apples. Allison seems to love it too, because she’s eaten about half of what I’ve bought. Other than that, it was a pretty standard shopping week; I was disappointed that the shredded cheese at Sam’s Club went up 2 dollars, but it’s still cheaper than Aldi. Here’s everything I bought this week:

Larabars: $2.80. I figured out how to make my own brownie Larabars to save money, but these were an insanely good markdown price, and they sound amazing!
