$75 Weekly Shopping and Menu 1-16-17

Sharing is caring!

Want to know what a family of 3 eats for $75 a week? Check back every Monday for a grocery list and menu! Week of: 1-16-17.

Hi, my name is Jaime, and I’m addicted to bread. And sticking things in my freezer. As you’ll see below, I had a great time buying items at rock-bottom prices! When I walked into the Entenmann’s bread outlet and saw a stack of Sara Lee Artesano loaves (our favorite) marked down to 50 cents each, I knew I had to buy the entire stock… and I did. =) The good news is, I won’t have to buy bread for a few weeks! The two best things to make with the Artesano bread: grilled cheese and PB&J. Seriously. This bread is thick and soft and makes you want to eat the whole loaf in one sitting.

I’m a member of a website called Influenster, where every so often I’m chosen to receive a box of free samples and coupons for free items to try and review, and as you’ll see below, I’m redeeming a few of those coupons! I’m also getting a loaf of Udi’s gluten-free bread somewhere else because for some reason I couldn’t find it at Meijer. I’ll be posting pictures and reviews on Instagram, so make sure you follow me and stay updated!

Lastly, my menu below is extremely flexible this week. I made a big slow cooker full of chili for our MOPS chili cook-off Saturday, and we have a ton left over… more than I expected, so we’ll more than likely have 2 or 3 leftover nights this week just so we can finish off this food! Expect to see some of these dinners on next week’s menu. With all that said, here’s what I bought this week:

One thing you do that I don't and should is shop different stores. I just get overwhelmed by shopping too much in a week, I'm not a huge fan of shopping in general -- shocking I know!.
