Weekly Recap October 24th

Sharing is caring!

Weekly recap- www.nogettingoffthistrain.com

What a big week for us! Our little girl turned 2 on Thursday, so it’s been a great week of enjoying her last few days of being 1, and preparing for her party that’s this afternoon. There must be something about turning 2, though, that just turns toddlers into crying, tantrum-throwing machines. I stopped counting the number of times she fell on the floor sobbing because I dared to tell her it was time to go potty! Anyway, here’s what you may have missed this week!

$60 Weekly Shopping and Menu– I had an excellent Sam’s run this week!
Weight Loss Update– In which, again, I lost zero weight and am now getting fed up.

What I’m loving this week

Nature's Bakery pumpkin spice fig bars... amazing.

These pumpkin fig bars are so good! I’m so glad I found these at Sam’s. One package is only 110 calories, which is great for a small snack during the day or dessert when Allison goes to bed. I gave her one to try, and she took a couple bites and decided she didn’t like them. That just means more for me, I guess! What other pumpkin treats can I try?

My darling 2 year old!

This little girl just lights up my life. She’s polite, loving, super smart, beautiful, and just makes my life so much more fun! These past two years have gone by so fast and I absolutely love her. Happy birthday, Allison!

Enjoying waffle fries at Chick-Fil-A!

After a rough time at the doctor, we played and watched TV, and then she was treated to a special dinner at Chick-Fil-A! It was a great day, and I’m excited for her party today!

Have a great weekend, everyone! Look forward to some great posts next week such as how to use up leftover bananas, and a recap of Allison’s birthday party!
