Weekly recap 11-21

I hope you all had a great week! This week for me was a little slower event-wise, but full of planning and preparing for the craziness in the weeks ahead. Lots of volunteer work, Christmas events to make favors for, gift-buying… I feel like I can’t keep it all in my head, and I don’t even know where to begin with writing it all down! I might be in survival mode for the next few weeks; wish me luck!

5 Things I’m Loving This Week

Slow weeks. Being home with a toddler all day can be kind of mind-numbing, but it’s nice not having anything to do, nowhere to go every evening. I liked being able to spend quality time with my family this week!

Mmmm.... fudge.

Fudge. My grandmother gave this to us this past week and I’ve been eating it every day. Unfortunately, my weight loss goals took a hit this week because of it! But it’s SO delicious.

Allison LOVED making these turkeys!

Craft supplies. I ordered some supplies from Amazon (Affiliate link) to make crafts with Allison! I’m not a really crafty person but I’d love to be able to do a little art stuff with her. She likes to “paint” with water on construction paper, so I thought it’d be cool if she used real paint for the first time. She thought making these turkeys was the coolest thing ever!

Hoodies. It is finally cold enough that I can wear a hoodie all day! I’ve been so comfortable and warm. Now if only Allison would feel the same way and keep socks on…

My new baby monitor. If you read my post from Tuesday, you’ll know how much I love this thing! There have been a few days this week where Allison was just flopping around in her crib and not napping, and I got over the intercom and softly said, “Lay down and go to sleep”. She immediately faceplanted and didn’t move for a couple hours, haha. I hope I’m not scaring her, but she doesn’t cry, so whatever helps!

Have a great weekend, everyone! Tomorrow’s grocery post is going to be a good one.
