Does anyone else just totally forget what they did for the past week? I was sitting here thinking about what I did, and I’m just drawing a blank! Having a toddler does that to you, I suppose!
I finally buckled down and bought How To Blog For Profit Without Selling Your Soul by Ruth Soukup (Affiliate link). I’m only a couple chapters in, but she gives such great advice on how to run your blog! I highly recommend getting it if you haven’t already.
Today is John’s birthday! Happy birthday, darling husband! You are amazing, loving, and such a hard worker. I love you so much! We’re celebrating tomorrow with dinner at LaRosa’s, and a special dessert that will be featured on the blog in a couple weeks!
One awesome milestone Allison hit is that she is now starting to speak in two-word sentences! She just started this week, and would say things like “Mom car-car?” if I’m leaving to go shopping or something. I’m so amazed at how much she learns and how fast.
How did I do on my goals last week?
Clear out a space in our office: My darling husband moved things around for me so now I’ve got a makeshift space to start learning how to sew! Eventually I’ll get a desk but for now, this will do!
Eat breakfast later in the morning: I only lasted a couple days with this. I get so hungry in the mornings, I just can’t help it!
Goals for this week
Practice sewing: Now that I have a space, I need to figure out how to work my sewing machine! Time to search Youtube for tutorials!
Find another task manager: I was using HabitRPG for awhile, but I just kind of fell out of it. Maybe I’ll try Any.Do again like John has. It’s so hard to keep myself accountable!
Come up with more goals: Haha, is that a weird goal? Maybe if I categorize my goals into things like Relationships, Blogging, Homemaking, I could come up with more and better myself!
