Yay, October’s here! It’s now one of my most favorite months. Two nephews and a niece have a birthday this month, as well as Allison, so we get to celebrate birthdays all month long, as well as plan one. *Sob* However, I have AWESOME ideas for Allison’s party. Two words: Snow White. Look forward to a post at the end of the month, I can’t wait to see it all come together!

October’s goals are a little scaled back this month, just because of all the busy-ness. I still want to challenge myself a little, but also make sure I get more rest and time to enjoy Allison before she stops being 2 forever. Last month actually went fairly well; let’s see how I did.


 Personal

Find a method of staying organized and stick to it– Partially done. I’m toying with a method I used before; just a small regular notebook with two columns- one for personal, and one for blogging. I’ve been doing fairly well, although toward the end of the month I struggled with remembering to actually use it!

More crafts with Allison– I bought pom poms, large buttons, construction paper, and felt. So far, the felt has been a HUGE hit! We’ve made quite a few things, which I’ll be showcasing in a later post.

Get to Kings Island at least one more time– And we’ll be going once more in October, too!

Fill my freezer- Spaghetti sauce, plus 2 other meals– Well, do hot dogs count as meals? I put in 5 bags of spaghetti sauce, and a huge bag of hot dogs.

Blogging

Fill up October AND November’s post schedule– I actually have most of November planned out, pretty exciting!

Create email freebie– It’s done, but I just haven’t set it up yet. Hopefully this month my subscriber friends will be seeing a pretty freebie in their email inbox!

Give Allison a birthday “Yes Day”

Try a new sleep schedule- I’m pretty sure that 6-6 1/2 hours of sleep each night isn’t enough, especially when I’m trying to work out 6 days a week and eat healthier. This month I’m going to commit to going to bed at 9:00, waking up at 5:00 instead of 4:00, and really push myself to get as much work done as possible with one less hour, while still fitting in a workout. This means I’ll also eat breakfast with Allison instead of before she wakes up, which doesn’t sound like a big deal but I’m always in a better mood to work with her shenanigans when I’ve had food.


 Blogging

Write 2 back-up posts– There have been a couple days where emergencies happen and I don’t have a post to put up for the day; I.E., I suddenly get sick. I’d love to have a couple saved for moments like this!

Clean up Pinterest account- Organizing boards, adding new cover photos, changing descriptions to make them more SEO friendly.
