Goals for this week 6/1: www.nogettingoffthistrain.com

Is it June already? It’s amazing how fast time is flying by! The weather is nice and warm, which means more time playing outside!

My new fitbit! www.nogettingoffthistrain.com

I got myself a Fitbit Flex on Tuesday! (Affiliate link) I saved up some money and got it for myself as a birthday present. So far, I really like it! I synced it with my MyFitnessPal account so my food tracking is sent to my Fitbit, which will then tell MyFitnessPal that I earned more calories for the day from the extra walking I did. It also tracks my sleep, which basically tells me if I woke up/moved around at all during the night. I haven’t motivated myself yet to work up to 10,000 steps a day, but I think that’ll come soon!

So how did I do on my goals last week?

Get my sewing machine set up: Nope, didn’t happen! I think I’ll stop trying to work on this for now until I get more motivated again/find more time.

Clean off/organize TV stand in our bedroom: Mostly done! The pile on the left was horrible. It was covered with coupon inserts, greeting cards, and all my blogging calendars/notebooks. Allison kept getting into it and making a mess, so I thought it was time to clean a little. I cut all the coupons, threw away trash, and dusted/cleaned the middle area that has my Playstation 2 and DVD player. It still looks cluttered in there with all the cords, but there’s not much I can do about that, unfortunately.

TV stand- Before

TV stand- After

Link up to at least 2 blog parties a day: This was mostly done! Some days I got 2, others I got maybe 3. It’s a great way to increase your blog hits! To keep track of when these parties go live, I use Google Calendar to create a recurring event. I put “Blog Party” in the title and in the “Where”, I put the URL. This really helps me keep track and remember to post my links as soon as possible!

Goals for this week

Clean the inside of the kitchen cupboards: I almost don’t want to take pictures of them. They’re so gross to me. The bottom cabinets are especially bad, so I need to empty them all out and give them a good scrub. I’m going to feel so much better once that’s done!

Drink more water: I haven’t been drinking enough, so I definitely need to keep track again.

Thanks! It’s still so hard to follow through with my goals, even with writing them down. I still need to find something that always works!

I love my Fitbit. It had stopped working for a few weeks and I really noticed how my exercise dropped off. It is a great motivating tool

Thanks! So far I’m really liking mine. It’s interesting to see how it tracks my sleep.

I am SO glad to see I am not the only one who loves to set goals! I am such an advocate of goal setting and especially written ones. I have seen it myself that nothing really gets done on time if not sticking to the written goals. Good luck and keep us updated 🙂

I love my Fitbit. It’s hanging off the laptop right now as it charges. It keeps me motivated when the scale isn’t showing a change in fat and muscle.

Those are great goals. We have a TV table that is very similar. I need to tackle it, as well.

Jaime thank you so much for stopping by my blog.

My husband is dying for the flex. I hope you will write a post about it.

I so need to organize a closet or two in my house. I skipped spring cleaning. LOL haha!

    Thanks for sharing. xx
