Holy cow, where did November go??? I feel like it was just yesterday that I posted my goals for November. A LOT has happened this past month and I’m super excited to see where my life is going right now! My biggest milestone is that I received my first paid opportunity for my blog- Not just my first, but my second, too! That’s incredible! Thank you all for keeping up with me and supporting me; because you all read this blog, I’m given an opportunity to provide for my family by working from home and being with Allison. You all are awesome! Now let’s see how I did in November with my goals.
Reach 450 Facebook followers. Not only did I reach 450, I made it to 500! WOW! My goal was to hit 500 by the end of the year, and I totally surpassed that! I can’t even say how happy I am right now, it’s just amazing.
Post to Instagram once a day. I never actually kept track, but I know there were a few days this month that I didn’t post anything. This is something I’ll continue to work on this month!
Post to Twitter 3 times a day. I got close with this! I try to post at least twice a day; once with that day’s blog post, and another with my coupons post. I’ve been using Buffer to help with scheduling my Tweets and Facebook posts, but sometimes I just forgot to flip through my Twitter to find things to re-Tweet.
Post other blogs’ content to Facebook once a day. I know I didn’t do this every day, but I was close, and I loved being able to find new blogs to read through this! This is something else I’ll work on this month.
Date night with John. We did this in a small capacity this month; instead of going out, we had a quiet night of renting The Avengers 2 and eating popcorn. It was nice!
Go to the museum with Allison once a week. I was totally on track with this for the first two weeks, and then Allison got sick. So, we’ll try harder this month!
Finish reading “Say Goodbye to Survival Mode”. I didn’t make this a priority, so I didn’t finish it. I’m about 70% through the book, so I’ll try to read more this month.
Stock my pantry with canned vegetables. I’d say I did pretty good! I bought about 4 at a time each week when they were on sale, and while I did use some of them, I’ve got a small stockpile going. I think I have about 8 cans each of corn and green beans!
Goals for December 2015
Reach 550 Facebook followers. This may be doable! I’ll just continue to promote like crazy.
Plan all of January’s posts by December 31st. This may not be too bad; I have a LOT of ideas running around in my head and have some exciting things I’d like to do, so I’ll get to it!
Update some older posts. Some of my first few posts don’t have any featured images on top, so when people want to Pin them, there’s nothing official to Pin. I want to add featured images to those posts, as well as update any information that needs changed.
Date night with John. We already have this planned, I think, with a Christmas party that John’s work is holding at a restaurant/arcade. I can’t wait!
Go to the museum with Allison once a week. Barring any sickness, we should be able to do this!
Finish Christmas shopping by 12/15. I’ve got the kids done, so I just need to focus on the adults. The sooner I can finish this, the better!
Enjoy the holidays! I feel like I spend a lot of time planning and worrying during this season, and not enough time just enjoying family. This will be a priority!
