Goals For August 2016

Goals for August 2016: www.nogettingoffthistrain.com

Oh my, is it August already? Summer’s almost over, and I’m looking forward to the horrid hot weather ending and the brisk cool days beginning. It’s just plain hot! I’ve been taking Allison outside more often though, to wear her little butt out…. and maybe play Pokemon GO. I’m just a little obsessed. Anyway, a new month means new goals, and I’m totally pumped to get these goals done! Last month was kind of meh. What did I accomplish last month?

Personal

Couch to 5k 3 times a week: I did take a week off because I got a bad summer cold, but I’m back into it again. Still haven’t quite hit a full 5k, but I’m working up to it!

Keep Sundays to myself- This only happened once. Parents of toddlers know how hard it is to find time to do everything, and at this point in my life I need every second I can get to get things done. Maybe when she starts pre-school I can think about setting a better schedule!

Couch to 5k 3 times a week

Organize the office- This might be a big task, so this month I’ll probably work on clearing off the coffee table that’s in there. We kind of threw everything on it while purging; I’ll be sure to post before and after photos.

Stock pantry and freezer- Things are starting to look a little bare, and I know this week Kroger has a great mega sale, so I’m going to attempt to stock my household with any money I have left over from the week!

Take Allison to Kings Island by myself

Blogging

Upload blog re-design- I’m so excited to do this! I have a new design, new logo, new ideas. This should be happening this month, once everything is finalized.

Set up new email list

Keep Twitter scheduler full- The more I tweet, the more followers I get, and I’m starting to get the hang of Twitter. Hoping to get more interaction here!

Try to write 2 posts a day instead of 1- I’m trying to take advantage of every minute while Allison’s sleeping now, and so it’s a mad dash to write ALL THE POSTS before she wakes up so I can start focusing on her. Plus, it’d be nice to get ahead of everything instead of waiting until the last minute to write tomorrow’s post.
