Being Tired and Goals for This Week

So this was my day Sunday.

Our church’s main sanctuary is currently expanding and under construction, so we rented out the city’s convention center and invited all of our site churches and partner churches to come with us. This auditorium seats about 1,900 people, and all 3 services were about 60-80% full.

The top picture was my workstation. I was in charge of putting up song lyrics and slides and playing any videos during the service. We sat directly behind the stage and were blasted with loud music the entire time. It was a really fun day but I’m exhausted! Spent a few hours practicing Saturday afternoon and was there from 7:00-2:00 on Sunday.

Now that we’re back to a pretty normal week, let’s see how I did on my goals last week and what I can do this week!

Drink 64 ounces of water every day: 5/7, plus a few of those days I actually made it to 80 ounces! It’s amazing how much your body craves water after working out.

Do PiYo 5 days this week: I actually did general workouts, but I managed 4 days this week, even with a cold! Holy cow, I was so sore. But I feel really good knowing that I’m taking care of my body now!

Some of you may have saw I made a new post last week on how we ate for $37 a week for a year. I was NOT expecting how popular it would be! I was getting maybe 50-80 hits a day, but ever since that posted, I’ve shot up to over 600 a day! I’m still in shock over it, but I’m so happy that I’ve been given a chance to encourage so many people who may be in a rough financial situation. Thank you to those who have shared that post on Facebook, Pinterest, or whatever else!

Goals for this week:

Drink 64 ounces of water every day: Should be easy considering I made it most days last week!

Workout 5 days this week: I’m finding that I do much better in the early mornings before Allison wakes up. I just need to make sure I have my mat out and ready, and my clothes laid out so I don’t have an excuse not to do it!

Reach 1,000 page views in one day: At the rate my hits are climbing, I’ll definitely reach this! Especially with my next big post coming out Thursday. Stay tuned for a post on price-per-ounce comparisons of items at Sam’s Club!

I've been drinking only water for about 5 years now, after only drinking sodas all the years before that. I try to get myself to drink at least 8 ounces a day, but I have such a hard time forcing myself to drink that much. I told my doctor this, and she said that I shouldn't try to force myself to drink that much, because she said that my body knows how much water I need. Still, I wish I could drink more.....

It's interesting how your body seems to tell you what you need. =) I'd like to drink a lot too, but forcing myself to drink a lot just feels weird.
