When You Think You Can’t Succeed…

Sharing is caring!

When You Think You Can't SucceedI’ve been sitting at home today just thinking about what’s happened the past couple weeks. I’ve taken this little blip in my head of wanting an outlet for all the tips, tricks, and knowledge of saving money floating around, and turned it into a full-fledged blog. I almost can’t believe that I actually took the plunge. I’m just one tiny stay-at-home mom. I don’t have as much knowledge as THIS person. I can barely find the right words to complete my posts, even though I like to write. There’s NO way I can keep this blog updated regularly; I can’t market to people, I can’t, can’t, can’t…

Isn’t it great how when you want to do something, that little voice in your head just tells you everything that will hold you back?

And it doesn’t just happen with blogging. Maybe it’s starting your own business. Finding a new job or career. Getting married, having children. It’s never the right time, right place, right circumstances.

I need you to know, right now, that you can do it.

It doesn’t matter if there is someone out there better than you at writing, or parenting, or doing the same job you do.

You are YOU. You are what God has made you to be, right NOW. There is nobody on this planet that can do the same things you do; you are SO needed in this world. Your knowledge, your expertise, is what someone else may need in this exact moment.

Embrace yourself! Take the plunge. Yes, you’ll hit roadblocks along the way. You’ll stumble, you’ll want to quit. Really, the only way you’ll fail completely is if you don’t even start. You can do ANYTHING you want to do; don’t let that little voice, or even big voices, stop you from doing what you feel you are called to do.

Going back to my video game roots, I’m reminded of my favorite Youtuber, Markiplier. He started out as just a guy who liked to play video games and record himself doing silly and crazy things. He had NO idea that he would very quickly gain over 6 million subscribers. His passion for entertaining others and also for raising money for his favorite charities is something that inspires millions of people, including me. Just ONE guy, one tiny person from Cincinnati, Ohio has made such a huge difference in many people’s lives, and he’s always encouraging his viewers to do what they’re passionate about and to not let anything get in their way.

I know I’ll never be the best or biggest blogger. And that’s okay! I’ll probably post or do things they may not even think of, and vice versa. We are all unique and offer different perspectives on everything, and if I can help even just one person save a few dollars on their grocery trip, or encourage one to start their own passion, then all this hard work will be worth it.

You all are AMAZING! You CAN succeed! Don’t let anyone or anything tell you otherwise. I’ll be right here cheering you on.

What is something that you’ve wanted to do but have been too afraid to try? Let us encourage you here!

I am so struggling with this right now. I quit my job two months ago to start my own business, and it's like, holy crap, what am I doing, I'm not cut out for this, every single day. But, I guess I'll never know unless I give it a shot right?

I love that you tackled this topic. Everyone has something to teach someone else. It's hard to start, and hard to believe in yourself!

Yes, thank you! =) It took a big leap of faith to start, but consistency is what's keeping me on this!
