Easy 2-Ingredient Coffee Creamer

Creamer is incredibly easy to make at home! This easy coffee creamer has only 2 ingredients and can easily be made into different flavors!

I love experimenting with coffee creamer. Coffee is the most important meal of the day, and I’m sure most of you that have early mornings will agree with me! I’m always looking for new ways to keep my coffee interesting, and one way is through this easy 2-ingredient coffee creamer. You start with two basic ingredients:

  • 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup skim milk

Shake up both ingredients in a large mason jar. I quickly found that my 16-oz jar wasn’t big enough, but a 20-oz might be perfect! Use 1 or 2 tablespoons in your coffee, depending on how sweet you like it. I used it in my morning hot coffee and my afternoon iced coffee, and it tastes amazing in both!

And the best part? You can add whatever you want to give it flavor. Add a teaspoon or two of vanilla extract to the jar; or maybe cocoa powder and peppermint extract for a mint mocha creamer. It tastes just fine without any flavoring, though. I’ve yet to add extras to this, but you can bet I’ll be experimenting soon!

What’s your favorite flavor of coffee creamer? Do you have other good recipes? Be sure to share with me in the comments!

Thank you! Any other tips for flavor? I simply mix Swiss Miss hot chocolate in my espresso for a frugal mocha. However, I have been on the lookout for a frugal flavored creamer that I can make myself.

Ooh, that sounds good! I haven't made any other kind... but I wonder if adding things like cinnamon and pumpkin spice would give it a good flavor?

This looks good! I normally drink my coffee black, but sometimes I do love the fake flavored creamers, which aren't the best for my wallet or waist! I'll have to give this a try. :)

I'm totally with you on store-bought creamers! I can't resist some of them, especially the holiday flavors. =)

Thanks for this recipe! I hadn't thought of making my own before. Is it necessary to use skim milk or will 2% work too? We just generally don't buy skim.

Hi Lorna! I've heard that any kind of milk is fine, including non-dairy. Skim milk is just all we use at home. =)
